Hautly Cheese Company
Each of our sponsors is special in their own unique way. They each provide expertise in their field such as the race wheels of Zipp, the fitting of Retul, the shoes of Big River, the frames of Litespeed, the guidance of Off the Front and the tri gear of QR.
But one sponsor that we are particularly fond of is Hautly Cheese. Now that may sound weird since we just mentioned some of the biggest names in the tri racing community, but Hautly is special to us in a different way, because they have helped us give Maplewood Multisport a purpose.
Hautly Cheese Co. has been a presence in the St. Louis community for over 65 years and aside from providing the area with some of the best cheese around, they are also committed to giving back to the community. They promote healthy lifestyles and they look for ways to participate in those types of activities. The company is in its third year as a sponsor of the Dent Wizard racing team. They have also been a title-sponsor the past three years for the Charter Communications Get Hook on Health Expo.
Hautly Cheese Co. owner, Alan Hautly, has been a customer of the shop for several years and an avid rider. Stewart and Alan have been working together on the other teams. So it only made sense to let Alan know that we were thinking about starting a triathlon club.
Alan recommended the club get involved with Children’s Hospital, because aside from supporting the cycling community of St. Louis, Alan serves on the development board at the hospital. Alan told us how great of an organization Children's Hospital is and how he has seen first hand the compassion and dedication of the staff. He told us that Children's Hospital has made a tremendous difference in the lives of thousands children and we knew we wanted to be a part of it.
We want to say a big thank you to Alan and Hautly Cheese Co. for helping Maplewood Multisport get off the ground and helping us find a mission for the team.
